Job Description
A house of brands co-led by a physician and a PhD in nutrition. The OsteoCollective, Dr D Media, Dr. Ashley Wellness, and PHD Lifestyle 2\.0\. Remote. A hands-on, player-coach role with authority to build the team as results justify it.
About the Role
This seat owns growth across a house of brands co-led by two founders: an orthopedic surgeon turned bone health and longevity specialist, and a PhD in nutrition whose life's work is lasting behavior change. They are co-visionaries, partners in business and in life, and both voices carry through every brand. The messaging pairs clinical authority with warmth and intuition, masculine and feminine in equal measure. Healing sits at the core. So does lifestyle.
The portfolio: The OsteoCollective (TOC) is an online bone health community with education and coaching offers, and it is the brand with the most growth in front of it right now. Dr D Media, the podcast and media brand, feeds it. Dr. Ashley Wellness is expanding into new product lines built on an established audience. PHD Lifestyle 2\.0, a lean weight-maintenance and GLP-1 off-ramp offer, rounds out the portfolio.
One marketing strategy and one team, applied across every brand, with TOC first.
This is a player-coach role. In the first weeks you will personally own the email and lifecycle revenue engine, run our acquisition funnels through masterclasses and challenges, and set social strategy across founder and brand channels. You will have help from day one: a content lead already in the seat who executes against your direction, and a contracted agency whose work you will direct and whose future you will decide. We are staying lean on purpose. When the results justify another seat, you will have the authority to fill it.
What You'll Own, Starting Now
Email and lifecycle revenue
- Own the email engine end to end: campaigns, founder newsletters, segmentation, and the lifecycle sequences that move a warm audience from content to community to purchase. For a community business, email is where the revenue lives. It is yours from day one.
- Own the CRM (GoHighLevel today), including the data, the automations, and reporting that gives the founders a clear read on performance without having to ask for it.
Funnels built for coaching and community
- Design and personally run the acquisition funnel for membership, community, and course offers: warm list to masterclass or challenge to conversion. These offers convert through relationship and education, and they behave differently than an e-commerce funnel. You need to know that difference firsthand.
- Plan, launch, and run masterclasses and paid challenges yourself in the early weeks.
- Direct paid acquisition on Meta, YouTube, and beyond as one input into the funnel.
Directing the team and agency in place
- Lead our content seat from day one. The seat is occupied by a capable executor who knows the message and the audience. What the seat has lacked is marketing direction, a clear scorecard, and someone to grow under. You provide those.
- Direct our contracted agency, which currently executes portions of the funnel and performance work. You inherit them with full authority to keep them, restructure the engagement, or replace them. Evaluating their work is one of your first deliverables.
- Set goals, run a regular operating cadence, and hold the people and partners you direct accountable to results. We run on EOS (Rocks, scorecards, L10s). If you have not used it, you will pick it up quickly.
Social and founder voice
- Set and own social strategy across both founders' personal channels and the brand channels, executed through the content lead.
- Translate the founders' credibility and voice into marketing that still sounds like them, in his register and in hers.
- Track engagement as a leading indicator tied to funnel performance.
How This Role Grows
- Months 1 to 2: You are hands-on. You personally run email, the funnel, and a masterclass or challenge while directing the content lead and the agency, and you build the scorecard you will be measured on.
- Months 3 to 6: You’re still hands-on and the engine is producing against targets you set. You have made the call on the agency and the shape of the team, and you recommend the next seat only when volume demands it.
- Beyond: You are the person the founders point to as owning growth across the portfolio, leading a small team with the authority to expand it as results justify.
What You Bring
Must-haves
- Direct experience marketing and selling through supplement e-commerce, coaching programs and memberships, or community. You understand the difference between a physical product and a membership and how to optimize LTV of both customers.
- Hands-on experience running masterclasses, webinars, or paid challenges as an acquisition mechanism, from concept through conversion. You have done this yourself.
- Depth in email and lifecycle marketing. You have built segmented sequences and campaigns that drove revenue you can point to.
- The ability to do the work personally and to direct others doing it, including judging an agency's output from firsthand knowledge of what good looks like.
- Experience setting social media strategy: organic growth and translating a founder's voice into content.
- Working fluency in a CRM and funnel platform such as GoHighLevel or HubSpot.
- A desire to build and lead direct reports, contractors, and agency partners, with prior experience setting goals and holding people accountable in any framework.
- Comfort working directly with physician and PhD founders in a health and wellness context.
Strong pluses
- Experience marketing across multiple brands or product lines under one strategy.
- Work history operating within FTC and health-claim constraints, such as marketing supplements, health programs, or physician-branded offers compliantly. Preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with EOS or a similar operating system.
- Experience in health, wellness, or longevity. A plus, since coaching and membership funnel experience from any industry transfers.
- Practical, current use of AI tools to speed up content, funnel testing, or reporting.
What Success Looks Like
- First 30 days: You have audited the current funnel, email program, and agency engagement, and you have proposed the lead targets and scorecard you will be held to. We do not expect you to commit to numbers before you have seen the inside. We do expect you to set them once you have.
- First 45 to 60 days: You have launched a masterclass or challenge, the email engine is running on your calendar, and social strategy is set across founder and brand channels.
- First 3 to 6 months: Growth against the scorecard you set, a decision made on the agency, the content seat performing against clear expectations, and the founders pointing to you as the person who owns growth.
Structure, Compensation, and Logistics
- Reports to:
the Integrator. The founders are active Visionaries and you will work closely with both, but leadership, management, and accountability for this seat sit with the Integrator.
- Location:
Remote. We are headquartered in the Southeast and hire wherever the talent is.
- Compensation:
100K – 130K base with a performance incentive tied to total portfolio revenue growth. Specifics shared in the interview process.
