Title: Director of Storage \& Compression Engineering

Overview

Seeking an engineering leader to oversee technical operations, capital projects, engineering standards, and reliability initiatives supporting industrial energy assets. This role partners closely with operations and project teams to improve safety, asset performance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while leading a high-performing engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and technical support teams responsible for operational excellence and asset reliability.
• Manage capital improvement projects and major maintenance initiatives.
• Develop engineering standards, operating procedures, and technical best practices.
• Provide engineering leadership for complex operational issues, equipment reliability, and incident investigations.
• Support facility design, upgrades, and optimization in partnership with operations and project teams.
• Oversee technical training, engineering documentation, and performance metrics.
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and employee development.
• Drive continuous improvement across engineering, maintenance, and operational processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 8\+ years of engineering experience with leadership responsibility in industrial operations, manufacturing, utilities, or energy infrastructure.
• Experience leading capital projects and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, process systems, reliability, and industrial facilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
