Position Overview
The E-commerce Sales Specialist will be responsible for managing and growing online sales channels within the automotive aftermarket parts market. This role will focus on marketplace performance, digital product catalog optimization, pricing strategies, and promotional programs to drive revenue growth and improve product visibility across key e-commerce platforms.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in automotive aftermarket parts, digital marketplace management, and product data standards such as ACES \& PIES.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Account Management
- Manage and grow digital sales channels including major online retail partners such as Advance Auto Parts and marketplaces like Amazon.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue, product visibility, and category share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with e-commerce buyers and marketplace managers.
Digital Product Catalog \& Content Management
- Maintain accurate and optimized product listings including titles, descriptions, images, specifications, and keywords.
- Manage product data using ACES \& PIES standards to ensure proper vehicle fitment and catalog accuracy.
- Coordinate new product introductions and digital product launches.
Sales Performance \& Analytics
- Track and analyze online sales performance, conversion rates, and marketplace analytics.
- Monitor key performance indicators including sales growth, search rankings, and product visibility.
- Identify opportunities for assortment expansion and improved digital merchandising.
Pricing \& Promotional Strategy
- Implement competitive pricing strategies aligned with company margin goals.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and seasonal programs with key online partners.
- Evaluate promotion performance and optimize future campaigns.
Inventory \& Supply Coordination
- Work with supply chain and operations teams to ensure inventory availability for online channels.
- Forecast demand based on sales trends and promotional activities.
- Support fulfillment strategies to maintain strong service levels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing teams on digital campaigns, SEO optimization, and online advertising.
- Work closely with product management teams to support category strategy and product launches.
- Coordinate with customer service teams to monitor reviews and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in sales, e-commerce, or account management within the automotive aftermarket parts industry.
- Experience managing digital retail accounts or online marketplaces.
- Experience working with major automotive retailers or e-commerce platforms such as Advance Auto Parts and Amazon preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of automotive aftermarket catalog standards (ACES \& PIES).
- Experience managing product listings and marketplace analytics.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and sales reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and account management skills.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable sales strategies.
