Job Summary
The Automotive Sales Operations Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing sales operations across automotive dealerships or distribution networks in Oman. The role focuses on improving sales performance, supporting dealership teams, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards, managing reporting and forecasting, and driving customer satisfaction and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day sales operations across dealership branches or sales channels.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and dealership profitability.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
- Oversee CRM systems, lead management, and customer data accuracy.
- Coordinate with vehicle procurement and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the Omani automotive market.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, company policies, and Omani regulations.
- Support sales managers in setting targets and monitoring performance.
- Lead operational improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Manage sales incentive programs and commission structures.
- Coordinate with finance departments regarding vehicle financing and documentation processes.
- Train and coach sales staff on operational procedures, CRM utilization, and best practices.
- Maintain relationships with manufacturers, fleet customers, government entities, and corporate accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of sales reports to senior management.
Marketing Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with sales objectives and brand guidelines.
- Lead all marketing activities for GAC Oman, including product launches, promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and dealership events.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives across social media, website, Google Ads, email marketing, and online lead generation platforms.
- Coordinate with the OEM marketing team to ensure compliance with brand standards, campaign execution, and utilization of marketing support programs.
- Plan and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization and maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor campaign performance by analyzing key marketing metrics, lead generation, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop campaigns that drive showroom traffic, test drives, and vehicle sales.
- Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, digital marketing vendors, and event organizers.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, promotional materials, showroom branding, and point-of-sale displays.
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and opportunities for business growth.
- Ensure consistent brand positioning and customer experience across all customer touchpoints.
- Support customer retention initiatives through CRM campaigns, loyalty programs, and aftersales marketing activities.
- Prepare regular marketing performance reports and present insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of automotive sales experience in Oman.
- At least 3 years in sales operations, dealership management, or supervisory role.
- Experience working with automotive distributors, dealerships, or OEM brands in the GCC region is preferred.
- Valid Omani or GCC driving license preferred.
