Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Director AI \& Data Science

to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of AI/ML solutions in a healthcare technology environment. This is a leadership role responsible for building AI capabilities, driving product innovation, and ensuring scalable, production-grade AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the AI/ML product strategy and roadmap across multiple platforms
  • Lead development and deployment of machine learning, GenAI, and NLP solutions
  • Build and scale AI/ML models for real-world healthcare use cases
  • Establish AI governance, model evaluation, and monitoring frameworks
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver AI-driven features
  • Engage with stakeholders and customers to present AI capabilities and solutions
  • Build and mentor a team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers

Core Areas of Work:

  • Predictive analytics (risk models, forecasting, classification)
  • Generative AI / LLMs (RAG, prompt engineering, document intelligence)
  • Healthcare NLP (clinical text extraction, summarization, coding support)
  • AI data infrastructure (feature stores, embeddings, vector databases)
  • Model governance, compliance, and performance monitoring

Required Qualifications:

  • 12\+ years of experience in AI / Machine Learning / Data Science
  • 5\+ years in a leadership role (Director / Senior Manager level)
  • Experience delivering production-grade AI solutions
  • Strong knowledge of:

+ Machine Learning (regression, classification, deep learning)

+ Generative AI / LLMs / RAG architectures

+ Data engineering concepts and pipelines

  • Experience working with healthcare data and standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7, ICD codes)
  • Hands-on experience with Python and ML frameworks
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare AI or clinical systems
  • Exposure to AI governance and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience building AI solutions for real-world business impact
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
