Graphics Designer Print Production

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Graphics Designer specializing in Print Production to join our creative team. Duties

• Develop comprehensive print-ready designs utilizing industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and CorelDRAW.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, branding, and production teams to conceptualize and execute visual solutions that meet project specifications.
• Prepare files meticulously by managing color profiles, resolution settings, and layout specifications to ensure optimal print quality.
• Oversee the entire print production process, including liaising with sign manufacturing vendors and overseeing proofing stages.
• Create digital art, illustrations, and photo manipulations tailored for print media while maintaining consistency with brand identity.
• Implement color management techniques and apply color theory principles to achieve accurate color reproduction across various substrates.
• Design layouts for print advertising campaigns, signage, packaging, and other promotional materials with attention to typography and visual hierarchy.
• Utilize motion graphics tools such as Adobe After Effects for multimedia projects when required.
• Maintain an organized archive of design assets and production files within content management systems.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in graphic design, digital art, and print technology to continually enhance output quality.

Skills

• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Figma, CorelDRAW, and InVision.
• Strong understanding of print production processes such as sign manufacturing and typesetting.
• Expertise in branding development, logo design, layout design, and visual identity creation.
• Knowledge of web design fundamentals including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and content management systems.
• Experience with motion graphics creation using Adobe After Effects for multimedia applications.
• Solid grasp of color management principles and typography best practices.
• Ability to perform photo manipulation and digital art creation with precision.
• Excellent presentation skills to communicate concepts effectively across teams and clients.
• Familiarity with video editing tools for creating supplementary multimedia content related to print projects.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail throughout all stages of design and production. Pay: $14\.00 - $16\.00 per hour
