About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced
Accounting Manager
to oversee daily accounting operations, lead portions of the monthly close, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. This role will supervise accounting staff, manage key financial processes, and partner cross‑functionally to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, detail‑oriented, and able to balance hands‑on accounting work with strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, and general ledger activities.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules prepared by the team.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and supporting documentation.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing training, development, and performance feedback.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA strongly preferred.
- 5\+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience managing month‑end close, account reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
