At Atlantic Industries Limited (AIL), the Engineering Manager plays a key leadership role in building high-performing engineering teams and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to a high standard. This role is focused on people leadership, workload planning, and process excellence, rather than day-to-day technical design.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers and technologists
  • Plan and balance workloads to meet project timelines and priorities
  • Manage billable utilization, resource allocation, and team capacity
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards
  • Drive consistent engineering processes, standards, and QA/QC practices
  • Use KPIs and metrics to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance
  • Collaborate with Project Management, Operations, Sales, and other teams
  • Act as a culture carrier and role model for safety and accountability

What You Bring

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related)
  • 8\+ years of engineering experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience managing engineers and technologists in a project-based environment
  • Proven ability to manage billable hours, utilization, or project financials
  • Strong people leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Nice to Have

  • P.Eng. designation (or eligibility)
  • Experience in improving engineering processes and efficiency
  • Exposure to tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000, or Plaxis
