Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM Cairo Time (GMT\+3). (9-hour day with a 1-hour break). Mandatory team overlap from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM Cairo Time. Occasional weekend coverage required during peak periods.

Job Overview
Our Client is seeking a
Senior Operations Manager
to lead daily operations across Customer Support, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Product. This is not a "hands-off" management role; it is a position for a technical operator who is analytical, AI-driven, and relentless in removing roadblocks. The successful candidate will own the company-wide KPI sheet and be accountable for every operational touchpoint that impacts the customer. Success in this role is measured by problem-solving speed, the effective application of AI, and the ability to push every department forward without drift.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Problem Solving \& AI Integration
- Anticipates and resolves complex operational blocks at the root before they impact the team.
- Resolves escalated customer support issues, settles supplier disputes, and diagnoses broken automations independently.
- Integrates AI into the daily workflow for drafting SOPs, analyzing data, and building automated dashboards.
- Stays at the forefront of AI tools and trends, implementing those that provide a competitive advantage.
Process \& Project Management
- Audits and rebuilds outdated processes and SOPs to accelerate team output.
- Ensures every project has an owner and a strict deadline, enforcing accountability across all departments.
- Leads and coaches team leads in Customer Support, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Product.
- Manages remote team members with clear, structured instructions and no-drift deadlines.
KPI Ownership \& Data Analysis
- Owns the company-wide KPI sheet, ensuring every department’s data is current and actionable.
- Monitors performance metrics (such as median response times in CS) and executes corrective actions immediately when numbers slip.
- Identifies the root cause of KPI drops and adjusts processes or goals with data-backed reasoning.
Supply Chain \& Personnel Management
- Negotiates firmly with suppliers to close quotations in the company's favor.
- Handles hiring, coaching, and offboarding with clarity and confidence.
- Conducts weekly 1:1s to review progress and remove blockers for team leads.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
5\+ years in operations, with at least 3 years specifically in
E-commerce
.
- AI Proficiency:
Heavy, hands-on experience using AI tools in daily operations (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, automation tools).
- Leadership:
Direct experience managing a
Customer Support
team and managing remote staff.
- Negotiation:
Strong skills in pushing back on pricing and managing supplier relationships.
- Technical/Data Skills:
Data fluent (spreadsheets, KPI dashboards) and technical enough to brief developers and adopt new software quickly.
- Communication:
Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable with direct, head-on communication and tough conversations.
- Setup:
Reliable high-speed internet and a stable computer (candidate-owned).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have):
- Experience with
Shopify
or major e-commerce platforms.
- Project management expertise within tools like
ClickUp
.
- Experience building or owning automated company-wide KPI dashboards.
