Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to identify a Logistics Coordinator with hands-on experience in freight and transportation operations. This role is ideal for someone who understands the details behind moving product efficiently—from documentation to load planning—and enjoys working in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and/or international shipments, including LTL and FTL freight
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, packing lists, freight paperwork)
  • Plan and optimize loads based on pallet count, dimensions, and truck capacity (height, weight, cube)
  • Communicate with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or damage issues
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems and provide shipment updates as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2\+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience
  • Strong knowledge of freight operations, including LTL/FTL and carrier coordination
  • Experience with shipping documentation and load planning
  • Understanding of pallet configurations, truck capacity, and freight optimization
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics/ERP systems

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a distribution, manufacturing, or 3PL environment
  • Exposure to TMS systems or freight management platforms
  • Familiarity with freight class, NMFC codes, or rate structures
