Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Mechanical Engineer based in West Chester, PA. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced ultrasonic metal welding and textile bonding equipment. Daily tasks will include machine design, prototyping, and conducting research and development to improve product performance. The role also involves utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools, managing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer and production requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
• Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD, Inventor) software to create and modify designs
• Expertise in research and development (R\&D) and problem-solving within the field
• Project Management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Knowledge of ultrasonic machining and bonding technologies is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required, strong mechanical and technical aptitude required
• Relevant industry experience or familiarity with equipment for aerospace, medical, or automotive applications is highly desirable
• This position is 100% onsite
