Role Overview

Under the leadership of the Manager Outcomes Evaluation – Business Insights, the Enterprise Analytics Outcomes Specialist is responsible for sharing insights in a way that is easy to grasp and actionable, building relationships to help drive adoption of data- and insights-driven decision making across a variety of subject matters including, but not limited to Medicare, medical and quality management, authorizations, claims, SIU, statutory/regulatory, non-HEDIS, Jiva/eLTSS and population health. and goals.

This role requires a highly analytical professional who can translate complex business questions into structured analyses, define clear methodologies, and apply rigorous quantitative techniques to generate meaningful insights. The candidate is expected to think critically, challenge assumptions, and independently identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities for improvement. The role will serve as a trusted resource for data analytics, insights, and guidance, partnering closely with business owners to develop business requirement documents, conduct data mining and analysis, and design reports or dashboards that address business questions and support informed decision making. The Specialist will also assist peers with analysis, reporting, and process and program evaluation, presenting results in a clear, concise manner that is well received by a diverse group of stakeholders.

Work Arrangement

  • This is a 100% Remote position but you must live in EST or CST time zones

Responsibilities

  • Support corporate, plan-level, and departmental strategies and goals by effectively applying both business knowledge and technical expertise to develop and implement data-driven solutions
  • Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches by defining relevant variables, identifying key drivers, recognizing patterns in data, and developing actionable solutions
  • Drive management, operations units, stakeholders, and the reporting staff to prepare clear, sound, accurate, and informative reports containing findings, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Conduct in‑depth analysis of healthcare and operational data to uncover trends, assess performance gaps, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Cross-pollinate across multiple corporate areas to understand workflows, document processes, and ensure the highest quality product delivery
  • Work on a fast-paced team with minimal direction focusing on understanding the application/product/area in detail while delivering high-quality outputs and actionable solutions
  • Serve as thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
  • Learn rapidly and enthusiastically, focusing on understanding the application/product/area in detail
  • Calculate return on investment (ROI) and evaluate potential operational changes
  • Assist with designing new approaches and methodologies
  • Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems
  • Collaborate across multiple corporate areas to understand workflows, document processes, and ensure the highest quality product delivery
  • Work on a fast-paced team with minimal direction focusing on understanding the application/product/area in detail while delivering high-quality outputs and actionable solutions

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare analytics, mathematics, public health, statistics preferred
  • At least one to four (1 – 4) years of experience using mathematics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions
  • At least one (1) year of experience of outcomes analyses and predictive modeling design and implementation in health care field
  • Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau preferred
