Job Description

Curriculum Manager – Cloud

\|

Remote (Belgium, Portugal, UK, or US)

Our client is a global EdTech platform trusted by millions of learners and thousands of companies worldwide to close the data and AI skills gap. They're expanding their content team and looking for a

Curriculum Manager

to build the next generation of cloud education content.

This is a

100% individual contributor role

— no direct reports — working at the intersection of cloud engineering expertise, instructional design, and AI-powered content production.

What you'll own:

  • Manage the full content development lifecycle, end to end, on deadline
  • Source and recruit top-tier subject-matter experts as instructors
  • Collaborate with instructors to build engaging, technically accurate courses
  • Consistently use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, and more) to drive high-quality content production at scale
  • Design, review, and create content on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud architecture, DevOps, cloud data engineering, and related topics — reviewed from a learner's perspective for accuracy and pedagogy
  • Continuously improve courses using learner feedback and engagement data
  • Identify and prioritize curriculum gaps and new topic areas across the cloud curriculum

What you bring:

  • Solid hands-on background with

one or more major cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, or GCP) — relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Administrator) are a strong plus

  • Broad cloud fluency across infrastructure, storage, compute, networking, and managed services — with deeper expertise in at least one area such as cloud data engineering, MLOps, serverless, or DevOps/IaC
  • Solid technical background in Python and/or SQL, comfortable in cloud-native tooling and CLI environments
  • Intuitive instructional design skills — proven ability to structure and teach technical concepts clearly
  • A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, or related STEM field — or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong, hands-on experience with agentic coding systems (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit) — they're looking for sophisticated users, not casual ones

Nice to have:

  • An intuitive sense for what makes online technical courses genuinely great
  • A network of potential subject-matter experts / instructors
  • An extensive track record building sophisticated AI systems or workflows

Location:

Full-time employment, remote-friendly - candidates must be based in Belgium, Portugal, the UK, or the US.
