Junior Accountant

to support their growing corporate accounting infrastructure. This role is a foundational pipeline position offering extensive exposure to automated multi-state billing cycles, SaaS metrics tracking (ARR/MRR), and digital general ledger administration.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable \& Receivable:

Own day-to-day transaction entry, vendor bill verification, customer invoicing pipelines, and bank ledger reconciliations.

• Month-End Support:

Assist Senior Accountants in executing month-end closing procedures, preparing standard accruals, and balancing prepaid asset amortizations.

• SaaS Billing Optimization:

Monitor recurring customer subscription accounts, tracking billing exceptions, revenue recognition markers, and dunning workflows.

• Expense Compliance:

Audit multi-state employee corporate expense reporting submissions to guarantee absolute adherence to internal travel and entertainment compliance rules.

Qualifications

• Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required).

• Experience:

1 to 2 years of progressive accounting clerk, internship, or general ledger bookkeeping experience—ideally within a tech startup or digital enterprise.

• Technical Skills:

Advanced foundational knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs) and familiarity with cloud-based ERP environments (NetSuite or QuickBooks Enterprise).

• Core Acumen:

Clear conceptual understanding of US GAAP double-entry accounting fundamentals (debits, credits, and financial statement structures).
