What's the job?

The Director of Product Management is responsible for coordinating and aligning strategic product management activities to support business growth within key sectors of the Specialty Grains \& Powders BU. This role leads the development and implementation of annual business plans in collaboration with key stakeholders, focusing on strategies, tactics, and product positioning that align with organizational goals. The Director ensures managing the execution of these strategies to drive measurable impact across markets

Essential Functions

Strategic Product Planning

· Operate as a direct strategic partner to General Manager, SGP via direct communication with SGP Management Team, Key Customers, Internal Stakeholders, and Executive Sponsors

· Manage full product portfolio to ensure alignment with company expectations, increase profitability of existing products, and support new product development

· Identify and prioritize multiple new markets and available opportunities for SGP, and build a strong team of product, operations, and commercial support to execute on these priorities

· Work closely with Sales Management to implement positioning and channel strategies

· Coach product managers \& senior product managers towards strategy refinement and execution

Product Management

· Product Strategy \& Road mapping: Define and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends. Prioritize product initiatives based on strategic value, feasibility, and ROI

· Portfolio Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of the product portfolio, including product launches, enhancements, and phase-outs. Ensure each product meets profitability targets and aligns with brand positioning

Performance Analysis \& Market Optimization

· Track, analyze, and report on sales, production, and profitability by market

· Conduct competitive benchmarking and market share analysis to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement

· Develop and maintain performance dashboards to monitor key metrics across product lines, customer segments, and regions, enabling data-driven decision-making

· Recommend actions to optimize market presence and profitability based on data insights

Team Leadership \& Organizational Alignment

· Lead members of the product management and sales teams, ensuring alignment with strategies, business plans, customer channels, and key initiatives

· Work with R\&D, Commercial, and Operations to ensure efficient manufacturing processes

· Lead effective communication with global counterparts by establishing and maintaining strong relationship with the Managing Director, SGP Europe and SGP China

· Foster collaboration across departments to support execution of strategic initiatives

· Inspire and lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic and operational goals

· Manage those in your direct and indirect (organization) team in terms of performance, objective setting, and professional development

What do you bring?

Bachelor's Degree, Business, Engineering or equivalent - required

Master's Degree, Business, Engineering or equivalent - preferred

8-12\+ years or more experience in Product Management, or a related field is required

5\+ years successful experience in managing, measuring, and driving an organization

An Engineering aptitude is a plus, experience in working in a large matrix organization and excellent presentation and communication skills - required

The incumbent must possess strong organizational skills, as well as be thorough, detail-oriented and be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The individual must have a working knowledge of computer systems and must possess strong customer relations/service, mathematical, negotiation, team leadership and interpersonal skills. Professionalism, as well as both oral and written communication skills are required

.Understanding the customer's needs and requirements and have a solid knowledge of markets and competitive situations

Oversight of an enterprise operating in a very competitive environment which constantly explores, through highly technical R\&D and product development people, new products, and applications where success can mean significant growth into new markets or development of new applications in mature markets. High degree of general business acumen

The position works with a wide range of people representing many different internal and external functions. The ability to communicate verbally and in writing, convey leadership, solve multifaceted problems, and operate with consistency

Experience in working in a large matrix organization is a plus. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $165,500\.00 to $264,500\.00 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 24% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $205,220\.00 to $327,980\.00\. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee
