Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Primary Care / Family Practice

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate

Nurse Practitioner (NP)

to join our Primary Care / Family Practice clinic in

South Central Los Angeles

. This position works collaboratively with a

Primary Care Physician

to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered outpatient care, including women’s health and pre‑natal services, in a diverse community setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations
• Serve as a Primary Care Provider (PCP) in collaboration with a supervising physician
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Evaluate patients and develop problem lists, treatment objectives, and individualized care plans
• Initiate treatment orders, prescriptions, and procedures within scope of practice
• Perform in‑office procedures, including IUD placement and removal, Pap smears, Ultrasound operation, and Pre‑natal care
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, X‑rays, referrals, and other diagnostic studies
• Educate and counsel patients on preventive care, wellness, and disease management
• Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to coordinate patient services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of California
• Active DEA registration (required)
• Active Medicare and Medi‑Cal IDs (required)
• Experience in Primary Care / Family Practice preferred
• Comfortable performing women’s health and office‑based procedures
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and treatment‑planning skills
• Excellent communication and patient‑education skills
• Experience with EHR systems
• Comfortable working in a collaborative outpatient setting

Position Details

• Hourly Rate: $70–$75/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with some Saturdays
• Outpatient, community‑based practice
• Collaborative physician support
