HVACR start up technician

Role Description

This is a full-time, mobile tech position. As an HVACR Start-Up Technician, you will be responsible for performing start-up services for HVAC systems, including equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role requires close collaboration with clients and adherence to safety and operational guidelines, ensuring systems are optimized for performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
• Strong skills in Troubleshooting and identifying system issues
• Experience with Maintenance \& Repair tasks for HVAC systems
• Understanding of general Maintenance procedures and practices
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals
• EPA certification or similar credentials are a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in HVAC is preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to commute to the job site in Freeport, NY
• NYC required OSHA certificate
