What you’ll achieve

As an Analyst, Data Science, you will help rebuild and modernize internal customer experience dashboards and tools, starting with JavaScript/React and Power BI and then evolving into advanced analytics and AI/LLM-driven features. You’ll be part of a small, highly collaborative team that blends operations, data science and engineering to deliver tools that surface meaningful insights for the business.

You will work with developers, project managers and cross-functional partners to rebuild existing Power BI dashboards from scratch, integrate them with React front-ends, and then progressively integrate AI and data science capabilities into these solutions.

You will:

Rebuild and enhance dashboards and tools using JavaScript, React and Power BI, transforming legacy assets into modern, maintainable, data-driven experiences.

Partner with developers and PMs to scope, design and deliver features, while driving your own work independently once your tasks are defined.

Help prepare and extend these tools for AI and advanced analytics, contributing to the integration of AI, LLMs and data-science methods into dashboards over time.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand key questions and support the translation of data into clear, actionable insights that influence decisions.

Operate in a “learn-as-you-go,” fluid environment—openly sharing knowledge, raising questions, taking initiative, and adapting as priorities and technology evolve.

Essential Requirements

Practical experience (coursework, projects, internship or work) with JavaScript, and familiarity with React for building or extending data-driven front-end experiences.

Experience working with Power BI and strong Excel skills, plus comfort with other Microsoft tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Teams).

Solid analytical and statistical thinking, supported by education in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in small teams while also managing your own workload independently.

Coachable, proactive and assertive—you welcome feedback, ask questions, share your knowledge, and take initiative rather than waiting for direction.

Desirable Requirements

Exposure to AI, agentic AI patterns and LLMs, and interest in applying them to analytics and customer experience use cases.

Experience with JIRA and/or Jira Service Management (JSM) for work tracking and project coordination, and prior work building or enhancing React \+ BI dashboards.

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is ($81,600 –$112,200).
