About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced eCommerce Developer to join our client's dynamic team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining complex eCommerce solutions utilizing platforms such as Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce (WordPress). Your expertise will be pivotal in creating scalable, secure, and high-performance online stores that deliver exceptional user experiences. As part of an innovative AI Agent project, you will collaborate closely with AI engineers to support the training of next-generation AI models and facilitate state-of-the-art commerce functionalities. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that combine eCommerce development with AI-driven solutions, making a significant impact on the future of digital commerce.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with a minimum of three years of experience in eCommerce development. You should have deep proficiency with Magento, PHP, Shopify, WordPress, and React Native, along with a solid understanding of API integrations, middleware solutions, and REST architecture. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure is essential to ensure the scalability and security of deployed solutions. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively document processes and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. A passion for problem-solving, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions are key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust eCommerce platforms using Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce (WordPress), or other complex eCommerce technologies.
• Implement and optimize seamless API integrations, including REST APIs, middleware solutions, and third-party service connectors to enhance platform functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and AI engineers to create scalable, secure, and high-performance eCommerce applications.
• Develop and deploy full-stack applications leveraging modern frameworks such as React Native and backend technologies like PHP to ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and Azure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all eCommerce services.
• Work closely with AI teams to annotate, document, and leverage development expertise in training advanced AI models, contributing to innovative AI-powered commerce solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of development processes, system configurations, and API integrations, ensuring clarity and ease of future maintenance.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to uphold high standards of code quality and system reliability.
