I am looking for a strategic and hands-on

Head of Product

to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of a cutting-edge fintech platform in Riyadh. This is a rare opportunity to build, scale, and own products that align with my clients group strategy and regulatory requirements.

1\. Product Strategy \& Ownership

• Define and drive the product vision and roadmap, aligned with the MD/CPO and overall group strategy.
• Translate regulatory, risk, and commercial requirements into actionable product initiatives.
• Prioritize initiatives using data, customer insights, and regulatory considerations, including SAMA Sandbox phases and go/no-go gates.
• Maintain a clear product architecture and scope across core platforms, customer journeys, integrations, and APIs.

2\. Product Delivery \& Execution

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery, requirements gathering, UX design, specifications, delivery, launch, and post-launch optimization.
• Break roadmap themes into well-structured epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria for engineering.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile rituals to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Embed regulatory, risk, compliance, and security requirements into product design from the outset.
• Manage product documentation for SAMA Sandbox and partners, including flows, BRDs/PRDs, risk controls, and customer journeys.

3\. Leadership \& Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop mid-level Product Managers into a high-performing product team.
• Set clear objectives, KPIs, and development plans for team members.
• Establish and uphold product best practices, including discovery methods, documentation standards, experimentation frameworks, and stakeholder updates.
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and fast-paced delivery.

4\. Stakeholder Management \& Governance

• Serve as the primary product liaison to the MD/CPO and leadership team.
• Collaborate closely with Risk \& Compliance, Technology, Operations \& Customer Support, and Commercial \& Partnerships teams.
• Contribute to SAMA interactions from a product perspective, explaining flows, controls, and proposed changes.

5\. Data, Customer Insight \& Continuous Improvement

• Define, monitor, and optimize core product KPIs (activation, usage, conversion, NPS, risk metrics).
• Establish feedback loops through user research, client input, and operational insights, translating findings into actionable backlog items.
• Use experimentation, including A/B tests, pilots, and controlled rollouts, to validate product hypotheses within regulatory limits.
• Continuously refine customer journeys to minimize risk, cost, friction, and time-to-value.

Who You Are

• A hands-on product leader with proven fintech experience.
• Deep understanding of SAMA regulations and experience building compliant, scalable financial products.
• Skilled in leading and growing product teams.
• A strong collaborator, capable of balancing multiple stakeholder priorities across regulatory, technical, and commercial domains.
