Sr Automated Test Engineer - U.S. Secret Clearance Required

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test solutions to ensure software quality, security, and successful production deployments.
• Lead the creation and execution of automated test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, and other automation tools across web and backend applications.
• Develop automated testing strategies covering functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance, performance, security, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, and operations personnel to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
• Support and coordinate all testing phases, including System Testing, Integration Testing, Independent Verification \& Validation (IV\&V), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain and enhance automated test suites, ensuring continuous coverage and reliability for each software release.
• Drive test automation best practices and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements to increase software delivery quality and efficiency.
• Configure, install, and administer testing tools, frameworks, and environments to support scalable test automation efforts.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, sprint activities, and project meetings while providing testing expertise throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Manage and maintain development support tools including GitLab, JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory, and related repositories while promoting testing consistency across the portfolio.

Requirements:

• Currently Active DoD Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree and relevant experience; senior-level experience supporting software testing and quality assurance initiatives preferred.
• 3\+ years of experience working within Agile methodologies, Scrum teams, and Kanban frameworks.
• 3\+ years of experience performing Functional, Integration, System Acceptance, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Gherkin, and related automation tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, source control repositories, build tools, and software configuration management platforms such as GitLab and Artifactory.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python and UNIX/Linux shell scripting, with experience supporting test automation development.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments, LoadRunner, ServiceNow, HTML, XML, jFrog, and Section 508 compliance requirements.
