ABOUT THE RHRC: Since its inception, the Rural Health Redesign Center (RHRC) has been providing tailored technical assistance to rural healthcare providers and communities, leveraging industry-leading expertise and skills. Dedicated to preserving and enhancing access to care in rural areas, the RHRC helps rural providers not only strengthen competencies, but also rethink and transform healthcare delivery through innovative, financially viable solutions.

WORK LOCATION: Remote, with travel no more than 50% of the time.
- Must attend in-person team meetings and other assigned events hosted by RHRC.
- Must be willing to travel to industry-relevant events, funder locations, and other meetings as needed and upon request.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant, hands-on experience supporting social media and public marketing in a professional setting.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to execute duties independently using established guidance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating content, communications, or marketing initiatives across multiple internal teams and programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants and team members.
- Proficiency with digital marketing and content management tools, including social media platforms, and basic design or content creation software.
- Working knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and ability to create or modify basic visual materials aligned with brand standards.
- Understanding of brand consistency and content standards across channels.
- Fluent in Microsoft 365, including familiarity with commonly used applications and superior PowerPoint presentation design and development skills.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive work culture.
- Must have reliable internet and experience working remotely.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with website content management systems (e.g., Wordpress), email marketing (e.g., MailChimp), graphic design platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe), and/or content management systems (e.g., Hootsuite, Monday.com).
- Familiarity with rural health dynamics and/or experience in the non-profit sector.
- Understanding and working knowledge of ADA and Section 508 compliance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role supports the organization’s marketing, and communications functions through content coordination, website management, and execution of digital communications. The Marketing Coordinator ensures consistent messaging, timely content delivery, and alignment across programs, events, and organizational priorities.
Social Media \& Digital Marketing Coordination
- Coordinate and execute marketing and communications activities across programs, events, and organizational initiatives.
- Partner with internal programs to gather content and ensure accurate, timely communications of program activities.
- Draft social media content, including graphics and copy, aligned with approved messaging, program priorities, and organizational goals.
- Support coordination of digital communications, including newsletters, press releases, donation campaigns, blogs, and presentations.
- Schedule and manage posts across platforms using established tools and processes.
- Apply platform-specific best practices to optimize visibility and engagement
- Assist in coordinating marketing workflows, including content calendars, between internal teams, programs, and external partners or vendors.
- Partner with external marketing vendor to coordinate paid media campaigns
Website \& Content Management
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with organizational initiatives.
- Coordinate with programs to manage content updates, including program pages, event information, and resource materials.
- Support alignment between website content and social media or marketing efforts to ensure consistent messaging and user experience
- Create and update visual materials using established templates and brand standards.
- Support the preparation of slide decks, reports, print materials, and other external-facing materials.
- Ensure consistency in branding, formatting, and messaging across all materials
Documentation \& Process Support
- Maintain and update event SOPs, job aids, and process documentation.
- Organize content, templates, and assets for ongoing use.
- Support coordination and tracking of marketing activities and deliverables.
- Serve as back-up to other members of the marketing and events team as needed and upon request.
- Monitor effectiveness of social media, website, and other digital performance, tracking engagement metrics and providing regular reporting and insights.

REPORTS TO: Marketing \& Events Manager
WORK STATUS: Full-time, Exempt, 37\.5-hour average workweek.
SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $70,000, dependent on education and experience.
RHRC RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
- Selected applicants can anticipate two rounds of interviews covering technical, behavior, and personality-based questions.
- Being team-oriented, our interviews are conducted by panels of peers.
- The provision of three professional references is required if selected for 2nd rounds.
- Typically, decisions are made upon the completion of 2nd rounds, however we reserve the right to request additional conversations to address any outstanding questions.
