We are seeking a proactive and resourceful

Strategic Procurement Specialist

to manage both direct and indirect procurement across a wide range of commodities, services, and equipment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, independent judgment, and the ability to balance priorities between our Fremont site and Asian factories.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities using SAP ERP (Buyer module) for both direct and indirect categories.
• Source, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
• Analyze and prioritize global requests, avoiding reactive decision-making by applying sound judgment and data-driven insights.
• Troubleshoot procurement and supply chain issues, escalating critical matters as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with operational needs.
• Communicate effectively within the team, raising questions or seeking input on high-impact tasks or projects.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new categories, suppliers, and market conditions.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of procurement experience in computer, electronics, or hardware manufacturing.
• Proficiency with SAP ERP (Buyer module).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while fostering team collaboration.
• Flexible across diverse commodities and eager to grow professionally.
