Content Strategist
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- We’re looking for a Content Strategist with extensive experience in planning and executing
content strategies that serve the needs of the users
- The candidate must have a keen understanding of the digital marketing landscape including
SEO \& social media marketing
- The candidate should be highly creative and use data-driven insights for creating effective
content strategies
- The candidate should have proven experience in conducting research on industry-related
topics and generating ideas for new content types and
- Excellent understanding of grammar, punctuations, syntax, structure, and sentence
construction is necessary
- Hands-on knowledge of using writing assistant tools such as Grammarly and ProWritingAid
- Basic technical knowledge of HTML, content management systems, and marketing
automation tool
- The candidate must have impeccable verbal and written communication and presentation
Skills
Roles \& Responsibilities
- Strategize, optimize, and deliver actionable content for our customers and stakeholders
- Perform activities such as market research, competitor analysis, and persona mapping to generate content idea
- Identify the tone of voice for each content type by conducting persona interviews
- Liaise with other departments, brainstorm, and generate innovative ideas that enrich the quality of the content
- Conduct content audits to identify content optimization opportunities
- Create and maintain editorial calendars, style guides, taxonomies, metadata frameworks, and content migration plans
- Keep track of feedback and analytics to make improvements in the overall content strategy
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Salary Range: $180,000 - $230,000 a year
