In this role, you will define the long-term design vision for critical product surfaces and modular content frameworks that engage millions of users daily. You will lead transformative, system-level design initiatives that empower multiple product teams to innovate efficiently while maintaining cohesive, high-performance experiences. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic business outcomes, including user retention and engagement, while mentoring senior designers and shaping company-wide design practices. You will operate in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and executive leadership. Accountabilities
- Define and evangelize a visionary global UX strategy for core product surfaces and content formats that aligns with long-term business goals
- Architect resilient, modular UX systems that allow product teams to innovate while maintaining performance, cohesion, and scalability
- Lead initiatives to drive long-term user retention and engagement, leveraging behavioral data and experimental frameworks to measure impact
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, balancing experience quality, business value, and technical feasibility across the organization
- Set industry benchmarks for design excellence, accessibility, and high-scale modular UI systems
- Mentor and elevate senior and staff-level designers, proactively identifying and resolving systemic UX challenges across teams
Requirements
- 12\+ years of experience in Product Design, with significant leadership experience at Principal or Director level
- Proven ability to architect resilient, scalable systems that enable multiple teams to execute effectively
- Track record of driving strategic business outcomes, including measurable shifts in engagement or retention
- Deep technical understanding of high-traffic platforms, including performance, latency, and architectural trade-offs
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring large groups and influencing executive decision-making
- Portfolio demonstrating both high-fidelity craft and the ability to shape entire product ecosystems
- Systems thinking and strategic vision for long-term design impact
