Job Description

Job Title: Data Engineer

Open (U.S. based, travel as needed)

We are looking for a

Data Engineer

to design, build, and optimize modern data platforms that support advanced analytics and AI solutions. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to develop scalable data pipelines, manage secure data environments, and help organizations unlock the full value of their data.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and build batch and real-time data pipelines
  • Develop and optimize large-scale data processing workflows
  • Implement secure, reliable, and high-performing data solutions
  • Work with structured and unstructured data across cloud and on-prem systems
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders
  • Support AI and machine learning use cases, including modern applications like RAG and vector databases
  • Improve data quality, accessibility, and performance across systems

  • Streaming platforms for real-time analytics
  • Data pipelines that improve reporting speed and decision-making
  • Optimization of large-scale data workflows to reduce cost and improve efficiency
  • Data solutions that support AI and advanced analytics initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 8\+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or similar roles
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
  • Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and complex query optimization
  • Hands-on experience with

SQL Server

and relational database design

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
  • Familiarity with modern data tools such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Delta Lake
  • Experience with tools like Databricks, dbt, or AWS Glue
  • Knowledge of distributed systems (Spark, Flink, etc.) and streaming tools (Kafka, Kinesis)
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect
  • Understanding of DataOps, CI/CD, and monitoring tools
  • Exposure to ML platforms or AI tools is a plus
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
