waste management and recycling company

with a strong reputation for supporting the UK chemical industry. Due to continued growth, they are looking to

hire a

Mobile Chemist

to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a chemist with industry experience—especially within the waste sector—who enjoys a hands-on, site-based role and working closely with customers.

🧪 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers on chemical waste handling and disposal

• Advise on safe packaging, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials

• Conduct site-based risk assessments and ensure compliance with HSE regulations

• Perform waste classification, segregation, and support recycling initiatives

• Carry out liquid transfer and waste handling activities on-site

✅ Requirements:

• Degree (HNC/HND/BSc) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

• Minimum 1\+ year of industry experience (waste experience preferred)

• Strong knowledge of wet chemistry and analytical techniques

• Good understanding of COSHH, SDS, and health \& safety practices

• Full clean UK driving licence (essential)

• Full right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
