Job Overview

We are seeking a curious and driven Entry-Level Data Scientist to join our team in Austin. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about using data, statistical analysis, and machine learning to solve real-world problems and generate actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends and insights
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms
• Clean, preprocess, and validate data for analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs
• Build data visualizations and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Assist in deploying and maintaining data science models
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
• Understanding of statistics, probability, and machine learning fundamentals
• Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in data science or machine learning
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Familiarity with SQL and working with databases
• Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
