Director of Finance (Gran Melia Hotel Jakarta)

• Oversee financial operations (AP/AR, budgeting, cash flow, expenses) to ensure financial health
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with policies and standards
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions
• Conduct audits and enforce internal controls to minimize risk and ensure compliance
• Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and investment decisions
• Implement cost control measures while maintaining service quality
• Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and manage budgets and forecasts with department heads
• Establish and monitor financial policies and SOPs for consistency and risk control

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience, or 5 years as Director of Finance/Financial Controller in the a 4 star hotel
• Experience in international chain industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems and reporting standards; Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and cost control; High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and accounting practices in the hotel industry
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
