Job Description
- Oversee financial operations (AP/AR, budgeting, cash flow, expenses) to ensure financial health
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with policies and standards
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions
- Conduct audits and enforce internal controls to minimize risk and ensure compliance
- Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and investment decisions
- Implement cost control measures while maintaining service quality
- Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts with department heads
- Establish and monitor financial policies and SOPs for consistency and risk control
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience, or 5 years as Director of Finance/Financial Controller in the a 4 star hotel
- Experience in international chain industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems and reporting standards; Proven track record in financial planning, analysis, and cost control; High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance standards, and accounting practices in the hotel industry
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
