Role Purpose
The Head of Growth \& Marketing, North America is responsible for building and leading the marketing organization that drives demand, adoption, and engagement across Rapsodo's Golf and Diamond ecosystems.
This role owns the end-to-end growth engine and is directly accountable for marketing-driven revenue performance across DTC, retail, and marketplace channels, including customer acquisition, subscription activation, and retention. This includes making and owning trade-offs across channels, pricing, and investment to optimize total revenue and margin performance.
This leader will operate at the intersection of growth, product marketing, and brand, ensuring that Rapsodo's marketing strategy directly supports revenue growth, product launches, and long-term platform engagement. The role will also leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to improve marketing efficiency, accelerate content production, and enhance performance optimization across the growth engine.
Reporting to the General Manager of North America, this role partners closely with Sales, Product, Customer Experience, and broader commercial and operational stakeholders to build an integrated go-to-market engine across both consumer and enterprise segments.
Success in this role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with the ability to build the systems, processes, and team required to scale a multi-channel sports technology business.
Key Responsibilities
- Growth Marketing \& Demand Generation
- Own marketing-driven revenue performance, including CAC, LTV, and channel-level ROI
- Own and optimize performance across DTC, retail, and marketplace (Amazon) channels
- Make and own trade-offs across channels to maximize total business performance (revenue and margin)
- Lead performance marketing across paid media, SEO, digital acquisition, and conversion optimization
- Oversee DTC ecommerce growth and customer acquisition strategy
- Drive marketplace performance in partnership with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on pricing, positioning, and channel strategy
- Own lifecycle performance, including subscription activation, engagement, and retention
- Utilize AI-enabled tools to accelerate creative testing, audience targeting, and campaign optimization
- Build data-driven funnels connecting acquisition to long-term customer value
- Product Marketing \& Go-To-Market
- Lead product marketing for both Golf and Diamond product lines
- Translate product innovation into clear, differentiated customer value propositions
- Develop positioning, messaging, and launch strategies
- Drive coordinated hardware \+ software launches across channels
- Build repeatable go-to-market playbooks across marketing, sales, and customer success
- Ensure strong launch readiness across DTC, retail, and enterprise channels
- Brand \& Storytelling
- Lead the evolution of the Rapsodo brand across North America
- Ensure consistent storytelling across consumer and professional segments
- Oversee content creation and creative production
- Amplify product innovation and customer success stories across digital channels
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to increase speed and efficiency of content creation and iteration
- Community \& Ecosystem Development
- Lead creator, athlete, and coach ecosystems across Golf and Diamond
- Build community programs that drive product adoption and advocacy
- Support ecosystem initiatives including simulator integrations, partnerships, and platforms
- Marketing Infrastructure \& Technology
- Build the marketing technology stack to support a scaling business
- Oversee CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and campaign performance systems
- Ensure marketing data connects with ecommerce, subscriptions, and sales systems
- Introduce operational rigor and performance tracking across the organization
- Evaluate and implement modern tools, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve efficiency and execution
- Build a structured experimentation framework to drive continuous optimization
- Organizational Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing organization (:10-11 team members)
- Define clear ownership across growth, product marketing, and community functions
- Partner closely with BU leaders across Golf and Diamond
- Align marketing strategy with North America revenue targets
- Develop future leaders and scalable team structures
Requirements
Role Qualifications
- 10\+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience
- Proven experience owning and scaling a multi-channel business (DTC \+ retail and/or marketplaces)
- Direct ownership of revenue metrics (revenue, CAC, LTV, channel performance)
- Experience launching new products and managing complex go-to-market programs
- Experience building teams and systems in fast-growing or ambiguous environments
- Experience using modern marketing tools and AI-assisted platforms to improve performance and efficiency
