As a Principal Engineer, you will lead the evolution of high-performance brokerage solutions using a modern stack featuring Angular, Java, and AWS. This is a high-impact role where you will drive technical excellence for applications used by thousands of investment professionals to manage billions in assets.

The Role

• Lead the agile development of mission-critical trading and brokerage web applications within the Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS) division.

• Drive technical architecture and design across the full stack, utilizing Angular for frontend and Spring Boot for robust middle-tier services.

• Architect and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform on AWS infrastructure.

• Mentor high-performing engineering teams, conducting code reviews and championing best practices in CI/CD via Jenkins and GitHub.

• Collaborate directly with business partners and senior stakeholders to translate complex trading reqs into innovative technical solutions.

What You'll Need

• 10\+ years of full stack software development experience in enterprise environments, with a focus on core Java and TypeScript.

• Expert-level proficiency in Angular, Spring Boot, and building sophisticated RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Proven experience in technical leadership, guiding teams through complex AWS cloud deployments and application management.

• Strong background in DevOps practices, including automated testing strategies (unit/integration) and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical roadmaps to non-technical business partners.
