Developer

with a client in

Bellevue, WA.

Candidates must have strong expertise in Rust systems programming to qualify for this role.

Rate Range:

$77/hour to $79/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Lead the development and maintenance of high‑performance Rust components with strict adherence to secure coding practices.
• Redesign or eliminate unsafe Rust code while ensuring correct ownership, borrowing, and lifetime handling.
• Manage multi‑language library integrations across C/C\+\+, Python, Java, and WASM environments.
• Implement robust XML parsing strategies and optimize system behavior for security‑sensitive codebases.
• Collaborate in open‑source settings by contributing to documentation, design discussions, and peer reviews.
• Support accessibility‑related development efforts, including compatibility with MathML and screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and Narrator.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Rust systems programming with expertise in ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and secure coding practices.
• Proven capability in maintaining multi‑language libraries and working with security‑sensitive, performance‑critical codebases.

Pay Details:

$77\.00 to $79\.00 per hour
