The Role
As a
Senior Solutions Engineer
at Ketch, you will sit at the intersection of sales, technology, and strategy. You are a trusted technical and business partner to prospective customers, helping them understand their data challenges, design the right solution, and clearly see the value Ketch delivers.
This is a senior, customer-facing role for someone who can tell a compelling story, sell in outcomes, and confidently own demos, workshops, and proof-of-value engagements from start to finish.
You will work closely with Account Executives to support complex enterprise deals and act as a critical link between Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience.
What You Will Do
Support the full solution sales cycle
- Partner with Account Executives from discovery through close to win enterprise deals
- Own technical responses for demos, RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
- Translate customer pain points into clear, value-driven solutions
- Quantify business impact through outcomes such as risk reduction, efficiency gains, or revenue enablement
Lead compelling demos and workshops
- Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and whiteboarding sessions tailored to each audience
- Lead proof-of-value engagements and technical workshops to validate use cases
- Tell a clear, non-technical story that resonates with executives while still holding up to technical scrutiny
Design and validate customer solutions
- Architect solutions that map customer challenges to Ketch capabilities
- Create clear solution diagrams showing data flows, integrations, and sequencing
- Build front-end demo prototypes using tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or Webflow
- Prototype and explain backend integrations using REST APIs and JSON
- Scope implementation needs and ensure a smooth handoff to Customer Experience or partners
Act as a domain expert and trusted advisor
- Stay deeply informed on data privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA and how they impact modern data use
- Advise on data architectures involving platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery
- Understand how privacy impacts ad tech and martech ecosystems
- Support competitive positioning and provide feedback into product and roadmap discussions
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- 10 to 15 years of professional experience
- 5\+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting in an enterprise SaaS environment
- Proven experience supporting complex sales cycles and closing six-figure or larger deals
- Background in data privacy, data governance, security, ad tech, or martech strongly preferred
Technical skills
- Hands-on front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience building demos or prototypes using low-code tools such as Webflow
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and tools like Postman
- Comfort working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Ability to create clear solution diagrams for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Solid understanding of how web browsers and web applications work
Sales and soft skills
- Strong presenter who can move easily between executive-level conversations and deep technical discussions
- Consultative mindset with strong discovery skills and the ability to ask second- and third-level questions
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Curious, self-driven, and motivated to continuously learn
Nice to have
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM
- Familiarity with CDPs, DMPs, and DSPs
Additional Details
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- English fluency required, additional languages a plus
- Ability to travel up to 20 percent
- Remote role with preference for Eastern or Central time zones
Compensation
- Base salary range: $140,000 to $175,000 \+ OTE
- On-target earnings up to $250,000 including commission, bonus, equity, and benefits

The range reflects both mid-level and senior experience. Compensation decisions factor in skills, experience, and market conditions. Benefits include full medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and equity. Three company-wide events per year in San Francisco.
