Growth Marketing Manager, Ecommerce

San Diego, CA (In-Office)

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Growth Marketing Manager to own the digital growth engine across our portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands. This role combines performance marketing, Shopify ecommerce, website optimization, influencer marketing, creative testing, and analytics to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.

You'll have end-to-end ownership of paid media strategy, ecommerce performance, creative optimization, and marketing analytics—working closely with internal teams, agencies, creators, and technical partners to continually improve performance across the customer journey. This is a hands-on marketing and ecommerce leadership role focused on growth, not web development.

What Success Looks Like

·       Grow ecommerce revenue through paid acquisition and conversion optimization.

·       Improve ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, and AOV across multiple DTC brands.

·       Optimize Shopify storefronts to improve customer experience and sales performance.

·       Build reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights and support faster business decisions.

·       Develop scalable creator, influencer, and UGC programs that improve campaign performance.

Paid Digital Media \& Campaign Management

·       Lead strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting of paid campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms.

·       Manage media buying including audience targeting, budgeting, bidding, testing, tracking, attribution, and performance optimization.

·       Develop campaigns that drive awareness, traffic, conversion, revenue, and customer acquisition across multiple DTC brands.

·       Partner with agencies, creators, influencers, and internal teams to source and scale high-performing creative.

·       Continuously test creative, audiences, messaging, landing pages, and offers to improve ROAS, CAC, and conversion rates.

·       Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on data, platform best practices, and business objectives.

Shopify Website \& Ecommerce Management

·       Manage day-to-day optimization across multiple Shopify storefronts and key retailer websites.

·       Update merchandising, product pages, imagery, promotions, and landing pages to improve conversion.

·       Ensure tracking, pixels, feeds, and integrations support accurate attribution and reporting.

·       Support SEO best practices, onsite search, and product discoverability.

·       Own ecommerce performance while partnering with developers and agencies to improve site functionality and tracking.

Analytics, Reporting \& Performance Dashboard

·       Build and maintain centralized marketing dashboards integrating paid media, Shopify, website analytics, influencer performance, and ecommerce KPIs.

·       Track traffic, revenue, ROAS, CAC, AOV, conversion rate, engagement, and campaign performance.

·       Create monthly executive reports with insights, trends, recommendations, and action plans.

·       Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve growth and profitability.

·       Identify new growth opportunities across paid media, ecommerce, content, and customer experience.

Creative Content \& Influencer Management

·       Lead creation and sourcing of paid social creative including AI-assisted, agency-produced, influencer, creator, and UGC content.

·       Manage influencer, creator, affiliate, and agency relationships.

·       Develop creative briefs outlining objectives, messaging, timelines, usage rights, and KPIs.

·       Review creative performance and optimize using platform best practices.

·       Identify emerging content trends across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google.

Preferred Qualifications

·       5\+ years of experience in ecommerce, DTC, growth marketing, or performance marketing.

·       Hands-on Shopify experience.

·       Experience managing Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok advertising.

·       Experience with GA4, Shopify Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, Klaviyo, or similar platforms.

·       Experience with influencer marketing, UGC, affiliate marketing, or creator partnerships.

·       Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into business recommendations.

·       Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Compensation

·       $100,000 – $115,000 base salary
