Position Title: Training Lead

Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position is $68,000 to $74,000, depending on experience and skill sets.
Job Classification: Full time, exempt
Schedule: Full-time (40 or more hours per week, and can reach 70\+ hours at peak times)
Location: Remote, some travel may be required for training and/or project setup

Role Description
Merrimack Services (Merrimack ) is seeking a talented, driven individual for the role of Training Lead who will be responsible for assisting the Training Director in the management of the Merrimack Training Program. The Training Lead will help train and manage department team members as well as design training materials for an innovative distributed canvassing program.
The Training Lead will report directly to the Training Director. This role is remote, but the applicant will be required to travel frequently to project locations throughout the country.
Responsibilities
- Support the Training Director in implementing a comprehensive staff curriculum through skill sessions and management of the company LMS
- Develop and facilitate one-off and curriculum-based training sessions for staff and other audiences across multiple platforms (virtually and in-person)
- Work collaboratively with program staff, company leadership, partners, and clients to design customized internal and external training programs to support their priorities
- Track and report qualitative and quantitative outcomes of training programs
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for trainings
Experience, Requirements and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in personnel and organizational management
- Campaign experience and/or deep understanding of the current political landscape preferred but not required
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

- Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills and a positive, collegial attitude
- Ability and willingness to work a demanding schedule, which can reach 70\+ hours per week at peak times and can be expected to include evenings and weekends
- Must possess a cell phone, laptop, and reliable internet
- Must be able to travel to project locations across the country on short notice; travel, lodging, and other related expenses are provided by Merrimack
- Familiarity with Google Suite and NGP VAN is preferred

Cycle/Project Based Full Time Position
Deputy National Training Directors are considered Full-Time Employees meaning they are expected to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) for a defined period of time, typically the length of the project. However, Merrimack expects to provide extensive opportunities for successful Deputy National Training Directors to continue on with the company throughout the 2026 election season.
Any job-related travel, lodging, and other expenses are paid for by Merrimack .
