About the Opportunit

Salesforce Administrato

r is responsible for the strategic management, configuration, and optimization of the organization’s Salesforce CRM platform. This role ensures the platform effectively supports member relationship management, service delivery tracking, and organizational reporting. Serving as an enterprise-wide resource, the position requires collaboration across divisions to assess and improve Salesforce functionality continuously, addressing business needs and enhancing data quality and system integrations

Responsibilities:

• Assess Salesforce CRM configuration and identify improvement opportunities

• Configure and customize Salesforce CRM to meet evolving business needs

• Serve as primary contact for Salesforce CRM support requests

• Train and support users across the organization

• Collaborate on system integrations related to Salesforce CRM

• Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce CRM administration experience

• Proficient in Salesforce administration and configuration, including custom objects, fields, reports, dashboards, page layouts, and data quality controls

• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Knowledge of reporting best practices, data governance, and system integration concepts

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Ability to travel 2–3 weeks annually and support all continental U.S. time zones

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy and platform integrity

• Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

• Experience with Salesforce CRM in nonprofit or membership organizations

• Salesforce Certified Administrator

• Familiarity with higher education and research communities

• Knowledge of the organization’s services and solutions

• Familiarity with project or change management methodologies

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Expected hiring range: $90,700 to $102,100

• Pay Grade: IT-3

• Starting salary typically within the first quartile of the range based on experience

• Full salary range: $90,700 to $136,100
