Hospitalist Rotation

Designed for APP and medical students, this rotation provides hands-on experience in hospital medicine. Students work alongside an APP and physician hospitalist, with hours typically from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday (flexible scheduling available).

Key Learning Objectives

• Understand the fundamentals of hospital medicine
• Observe and study the management of common inpatient medical conditions
• Appreciate the multidisciplinary approach required for effective inpatient care, care coordination, and safe patient transitions
• Develop documentation skills, including admission H\&Ps, progress notes, and discharge summaries
