Job Description
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Company: Telegra
Location: Richland, WA (Onsite)
Type: Full-Time \| Executive Leadership
About Telegra
Telegra is building the infrastructure layer for modern telemedicine—connecting digital health companies, physician networks, and pharmacies into a unified, scalable ecosystem. Our platform powers prescription workflows, care delivery, and healthcare commerce for enterprise partners.
We are entering our next phase of growth, focused on stability, scale, and deep integrations across the healthcare ecosystem.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on, execution-focused CTO to lead Telegra’s technical direction and development team. This is not a purely strategic role—you will be directly responsible for driving high-ROI development, improving system stability, and accelerating integrations that generate revenue.
You will work closely with the CEO and COO to ensure that technology directly contributes to client success, revenue growth, and enterprise readiness.
Core Mandate
1\. Prioritize High-ROI Development
- Focus engineering efforts on features that directly drive revenue
- Balance speed with long-term scalability
- Ruthlessly eliminate low-impact work
2\. Increase System Stability
- Improve reliability across all core systems
- Reduce bugs, downtime, and operational friction
- Establish clear release processes and documentation
3\. Expand External Connectivity
You will lead integrations across Telegra’s most important external systems:
Priority order:
- E-commerce platforms
- Telehealth platforms
- Physician networks
- Insurance ecosystems
What You’ll Own
- Technical architecture and system design
- API-first platform development
- Integration strategy across partners and clients
- Developer experience for enterprise partners
- Engineering team output, velocity, and quality
- Infrastructure, security, and scalability decisions
What Success Looks Like
- Measurable increase in platform reliability and uptime
- Faster onboarding of enterprise clients
- Strong, documented APIs that external developers can easily adopt
- Increased revenue driven by integrations and technical capabilities
- Clear monthly and quarterly engineering roadmaps tied to business outcomes
Ideal CandidateTechnical
- Strong background in Node.js / modern backend systems
- Experience building API-first platforms
- Deep understanding of system architecture and integrations
- Familiarity with healthcare, telemedicine, or regulated environments (preferred, not required)
- Experience working with Stripe, payment flows, or transactional systems
Leadership
- Proven ability to lead small, high-output engineering teams
- Strong prioritization skills—focuses on what actually matters
- Able to translate business goals into technical execution
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Mindset
- Revenue-oriented thinker (not just a builder)
- Bias toward action and shipping
- High ownership and accountability
- Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Compensation
- Competitive base salary ($175k - $200k)
- Performance-based upside tied to company growth
- Significant influence over company direction and product
Why Join Telegra
- Build foundational infrastructure for the future of healthcare
- Work directly with executive leadership on high-impact decisions
- Own and shape a platform with real revenue and real clients
- Opportunity to scale into a long-term executive role as the company grows
Pay: $175,000\.00 - $200,000\.00 per year
Benefits:
- Employee discount
- Paid time off
