Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Contract Manager to lead the negotiation, execution, and lifecycle management of contracts across the organization. This role will support a wide range of agreements, including supply and services contracts, sales and distribution agreements, leases, licenses, and NDAs.
The ideal candidate brings strong contract expertise along with proven project management skills, as the role requires coordinating inputs from legal, commercial, operational, and external stakeholders. Working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, the Contract Manager will play a key role in protecting the company’s interests, enabling business growth, and building effective relationships with third‑party partners through disciplined contract governance.
Essential Job Functions
- Draft, review,negotiate, and manage a broad range of contracts, from initiation through the lifecycle.
- Conduct thorough document review to identify risks, enforce contractual obligations, and ensure clarity in contract language.
- Oversee business partner management processes to establish and maintain productive relationships within scope third parties.
- Ensure adherence to applicable regulations such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), UCC law, and other relevant compliance standards.
- Collaborate with legal as required, particularly whereon intellectual property law issues, indemnification and contract dispute resolution are at stake.
- Utilize contract management systems such as Legisway, DocuSign, ERP systems or similar platforms for efficient record keeping and document management.
- Lead change management initiatives related to contractual processes and continuous improvement strategies.
- Maintain meticulous records of all contract documents in accordance with records management policies.
- Conduct research on industry best practices to optimize contract strategies and support business growth initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, supply chain, finance, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- 5\+ years of hands‑on contract management experience in a commercial, operations, or regulated environment
- Experience supporting cross‑functional stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Legal)
- Strong expertise in contract negotiation and management techniques.
- Proficiency in legal drafting, document review, and compliance management related to contracts.
- Knowledge of UCC law, FAR regulations, and federal acquisition processes.
- Experience with contract management software
- Demonstrated ability to identify contractual risk, assess exposure, and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong understanding of commercial terms (liability, indemnification, termination, IP, confidentiality)
- Experience supporting audits, dispute resolution, or contract compliance reviews

- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex contractual terms effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with change-management principles and contractor management practices is preferred. This position is integral to ensure that the organization’s contractual operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with strategic objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership in contract lifecycle oversight while fostering positive relationships with third parties and internal teams alike.
- Experience managing high contract volumes and competing deadlines
- Skilled at building standardization and templates to improve speed and consistency
- High attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize pragmatically
- Experience in a global or multi‑entity environment highly preferred
- Familiarity with export controls, data protection clauses, or international contracting basics highly preferred
