Kane Partners is conducting a confidential search for a leading food manufacturer seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth throughout the Northeast.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven foodservice sales professional who thrives in the field, enjoys building relationships with operators, chefs, distributors, and brokers, and has a track record of creating new business opportunities.
We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable presenting to a distributor sales team, conducting operator meetings, supporting menu development conversations, and identifying opportunities to expand market share.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies throughout the Northeast
- Build relationships with restaurant operators, chefs, multi-unit groups, hospitality accounts, healthcare, education, and other foodservice segments
- Drive demand through distributor and broker partners
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Conduct product presentations, customer meetings, trainings, and industry events
- Collaborate with distribution partners to increase product penetration and market presence
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends
- Achieve territory sales and profitability objectives
Qualifications
- 5\+ years of foodservice sales experience
- Experience working for a food manufacturer, specialty foods company, protein company, or related foodservice organization
- Strong operator-facing sales experience
- Experience working with distributors and broker networks
- Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated success influencing customers and building long-term relationships
- Ability to travel throughout the Northeast region
Preferred Background
- Center-of-plate protein, poultry, meat, seafood, specialty foods, or related categories
- Culinary background or experience working closely with chefs and operators
- Existing relationships throughout the New England foodservice market
