IT Product Analyst (Business Analyst)

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior IT Product Analyst based in Malaysia to support the success of our global sales platforms. This role serves as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, with strong ownership across product requirements, delivery execution, and ongoing product operations.

This role requires close remote collaboration with China-based teams and other global stakeholders, as well as flexibility to support cross-time-zone working hours when needed. In addition to product delivery, this position will also take on product operations and team operations responsibilities, including budget management, resource coordination, and operational governance.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong AI product mindset, with curiosity and initiative to continuously learn, experiment with, and apply AI technologies in real business scenarios. Experience in AI-driven products or platforms will be a strong differentiator.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Business Engagement \& Communication

• Collect, analyze, and consolidate product requirements and feedback from stakeholders.
• Break down business needs into actionable product backlogs for current and future releases.
• Identify emerging business opportunities and potential product requirements.
• Build a comprehensive end-to-end view of business processes.
• Collaborate closely with China-based and global teams through remote communication channels.

2\. Product Strategy \& Roadmap Support

• Assist in the development and execution of product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Understand the full product lifecycle and support its planning and execution.
• Help build internal awareness and promote alignment on product direction.
• Facilitate communication and understanding between business and technical teams across regions and time zones.

3\. Business Solution Design

• Design effective and scalable business solutions aligned with user and stakeholder requirements.
• Proactively identify and propose innovative solutions focused on individual features or modules, including AI-enabled capabilities where applicable.

4\. Product Management, Delivery \& Operations

Product Delivery

• Provide day-to-day guidance to delivery/scrum teams on prioritization of requirements, features, technical debt, and defects by serving as the voice of the customer and primary clarification point for the team.
• Develop a product-wide end-to-end view; Scrum Master experience or certification is a plus.

Product Operations \& Team Operations

• Support ongoing product operations, including incident management, production support, and service stability.
• Track and manage product budgets, delivery costs, and resource capacity planning.
• Support operational governance, reporting, and cross-team coordination activities.
• Accountable for overall product quality, business continuity, and operational effectiveness.

5\. End-to-End IT Solution Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure alignment between technical implementation and business goals.

Qualifications \& Requirements

• Based in Malaysia and able to work effectively in a remote, global team environment.
• Comfortable collaborating with China-based teams and supporting cross-time-zone working hours when required.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English. Chinese proficiency preferred.
• Strong AI product mindset; experience with AI-driven products, platforms, or intelligent workflows is highly competitive.
• Demonstrated ability and motivation to proactively learn, experiment with, and apply AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology; experience in a Scrum environment preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
