Job Description:
AdMedia is currently seeking a motivated LAMP Developer to manage existing websites as well as develop new features and maintain tools and systems.
Our ideal candidate is someone with at least 2 years of experience developing Ad Tech websites and the ability to communicate well with team members across company channels.
This position requires the ability to plan, multi-task, and follow through on projects. Responsibilities include site operations support and the ongoing development and maintenance of web content.
This is a remote position, though you must be residing in the U.S. to apply.
Key Skills:
Expert in hand-coding PHP, Javascript, Java, C, C#, C\+\+, Python, LUA, Perl, and Bash Shell scripting
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Must have 2\+ years working experience in Online Search Advertising code environment
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering
- Expert knowledge of PHP, Perl, Bash Shell, LUA, C, C#, C\+\+, MySQL, XML, Apache, NginX, and Linux servers along with frontend development using Javascript, Java, jQuery, Python, and other libraries
- Knowledge of design patterns, composition, and object-oriented development
- Experience working with APIs, both integrating a third-party API and creating your own when necessary (Oath, Facebook, Twitter, Google API experience preferred)
- Ability to build custom REST API's
- Experience designing relational databases and queries
- Experience in Memcache, Redis or similar caching technology
- Experience integrating PHP into a full-stack environment
- Ability to write JS/HTML/CSS
- Advanced knowledge of building Content Management Systems, either from your own design or from frameworks using CodeIgniter
- Excellent communications and organizational skills
- 24/7 on-call for emergency response, disaster recovery
