Database Administrator (MS SQL & GCP)

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Database Administrator

to support and manage enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments across on-premises and public cloud platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on DBA with strong cloud experience and a passion for database performance, security, automation, and high availability.

Must-Have Qualifications

8–10\+ years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator

5\+ years of hands-on experience with public cloud database platforms:

• GCP Cloud SQL (SQL Server)
• Azure SQL Managed Instance / DBaaS / IaaS

Strong expertise with:

• SQL Server 2022, 2019, and 2017
• Database installation, configuration, hardening, and administration
• Database Security
• Performance tuning and optimization
• Backup \& Recovery
• High Availability \& Disaster Recovery (HA/DR)

Hands-on experience with SQL Server technologies:

• SSIS
• SSRS
• SSAS
• PolyBase
• R Services
• Power BI integration

Strong scripting and automation experience using:

• PowerShell
• T-SQL
• SSIS
• C#
• VBScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft and/or Google Cloud certifications
• Experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups and Replication
• Windows Server administration
• Active Directory and network connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience in highly regulated enterprise environments
