1\. About Our Client:

The organization operates in the financial services sector, focusing on providing transparent and flexible credit options that allow consumers to buy now and pay later without hidden fees or compounding interest. As the Collections team expands and manages various stages of delinquency, it faces increasing complexity due to regulatory requirements, system workflows, digital tools, and recovery channels. The organization addresses these challenges by developing structured, compliant, and performance-driven strategies to improve recovery outcomes while maintaining adherence to regulations.

2\. About the Opportunity:

The eLearning Content Development Specialist II is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining learning programs that enhance collections performance, compliance, and agent effectiveness. This role ensures that training keeps pace with evolving strategies, regulatory changes, and technology implementations. The position directly impacts recovery performance and compliance adherence by delivering effective, engaging eLearning content to a dispersed, global workforce.

3\. Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop course content and provide eLearning guidance
  • Consult with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop course specifications
  • Collaborate with the Collections Training Manager on design and build documents and templates
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including design standards, records, and reporting
  • Create reporting mechanisms to track compliance, learning objectives, and key metrics
  • Educate and mentor peers on LMS and course authoring tools
  • Deliver high-value, on-demand training using expertise across multiple fields
  • Employ innovative techniques and new technologies for global training delivery
  • Develop presentation materials, and write, direct, and edit videos and voice overs

4\. Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Learning Design, Learning Development, or Adult Learning
  • 3\+ years of progressive experience in instructional design and online course development
  • Experience in complex operational or collection environments preferred; financial experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate, Canva, Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond, and Lessonly
  • Experience in video/multimedia production and editing
  • Experience creating AI training simulations and Sandbox systems
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating e-learning and/or video work with instructional design and visual design skills
  • LMS administration experience
  • Excellent listening, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate at all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Proactive approach with the ability to simplify complex information
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

5\. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

  • USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $90,000 - $110,000
  • USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $80,000 - $100,000
  • Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits including fully subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents
  • Employees new to the organization typically start at the lower end of the pay range, with pay determined by location, experience, and job-related skills
