Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, PCB layouts, and firmware using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and SystemVerilog.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate FPGA, SoC (System on Chip), ARM processors, and programmable logic controllers into system architectures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on electrical failures or performance issues using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and vision inspection systems.
  • Perform signal processing and system design tasks for applications involving quantum engineering, microcontrollers like Arduino and ARM-based boards.
  • Manage project scheduling to ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Solder surface mount technology components with precision; perform debugging and firmware updates using languages such as C\+\+, Python, Perl, MATLAB, and scripting languages.
  • Create detailed schematics and technical documentation adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards using CAD software like MicroStation or Revit.
  • Support manufacturing processes by developing test procedures, overseeing assembly with surface mount technology, and ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards.
  • Engage in mechanical knowledge integration for electrical systems involving mechanical engineering principles; collaborate with mechanical teams on system integration projects.

Experience

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering roles with a focus on system design, PCB development, FPGA programming, and firmware integration.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Simulink, SystemVerilog, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Revit or MicroStation for designing electrical schematics and mechanical interfaces.
  • Strong background in signal processing, debugging techniques, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes including surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and vision inspection systems.
  • Knowledge of NEC standards for electrical safety; experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics; experience with CAD software for system layout is essential.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to system integration; experience working with mechanical engineers on multi-disciplinary projects is a plus.
