Role Overview
The Electrical Engineer
is a client-facing leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality electrical system designs from initial client engagement through project execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop electrical scopes of work from business development through design, construction, and commissioning
- Design power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Perform conceptual and detailed electrical design studies
- Prepare plant and equipment datasheets
- Produce electrical calculations, drawings, specifications, and one-line diagrams
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Perform engineering studies including coordination, arc flash, and thermal feeder analysis
- Conduct site visits and field data collection
- Support bid and proposal development as needed
- Perform technical quality control reviews of engineering deliverables
- Manage and coordinate electrical vendors and subcontractors
- Provide project and technical leadership to engineering teams
- Perform additional duties as required to support project and company objectives

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5–10 years of electrical design experience
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Preferred background in construction or design-build environments
- Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, telecom, and DC power systems strongly preferred
- Proven experience coordinating across disciplines on complex projects
- High fluency reading plans, specifications, and technical documentation
- Proficiency with Revit, electrical design software, and MS Office
- Strong working knowledge of building and electrical codes and standards
