Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Electrician for a leading industrial client in Tonawanda, NY. This candidate will perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial electrical systems within a manufacturing and facility environment. The ideal individual has strong electrical troubleshooting experience, a commitment to safety, and the ability to support critical facility infrastructure while driving reliability and operational excellence.
Essential Job Duties:
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility electrical equipment and systems operating up to 480V.
- Execute electrical projects including conduit installation, power distribution equipment, transfer switches, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems.
- Investigate electrical malfunctions, replace faulty components, and verify system functionality through testing and inspection.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and complete corrective repairs in accordance with established maintenance plans and CMMS work orders.
- Adhere to all electrical codes, site procedures, and safety standards while delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, completed work orders, equipment service history, and labor reporting.
- Recognize and recommend improvements to enhance operational reliability, workplace safety, energy efficiency, and overall facility performance.
- Partner with electricians, technicians, and other maintenance personnel to support daily operations and site improvement initiatives.
- Comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe work practices.
- Support critical utility operations outside of regular business hours through an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service needs during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Compensation: $30-42 an hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
