Job Description

Our client is seeking an Electrician to join a growing commercial and industrial services team. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems across commercial, industrial, multi-family, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical installations, lighting systems, EV charging infrastructure, electrical service upgrades, and construction build-outs while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, panel upgrades, circuit installations, and equipment connections.
  • Install and troubleshoot LED lighting systems, network controls, occupancy sensors, and energy-efficient lighting solutions.
  • Assist with EV charger installations, electrical infrastructure upgrades, and renewable energy projects.
  • Diagnose electrical issues and perform service calls, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements, local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Complete project documentation, service reports, and material tracking accurately.
  • Support commercial construction projects, facility upgrades, and tenant improvement projects as required.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe working condition.

Required Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 3\+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with conduit bending, panel installations, lighting systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LED retrofit and lighting modernization projects.
  • Experience installing EV charging stations.
  • Exposure to renewable energy or energy-efficiency projects.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Experience supporting commercial construction, facility infrastructure, or industrial projects.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work on ladders, lifts, rooftops, and active construction sites.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
