Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Elementary School Counselor based in Richwood, OH. The Elementary School Counselor will provide academic, emotional, and social support to students and act as a bridge between students, parents, teachers, and the community. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, assisting students in career exploration, supporting special education needs, and organizing community outreach programs to foster a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Student Counseling, Counseling, and providing emotional and social support to students
• Knowledge and understanding of Special Education programming and services
• Effectiveness in Community Outreach and fostering relationships between parents, students, and the school
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and community partners
• State certification as a School Counselor or ability to obtain certification.
