About the Role

We are seeking a skilled

Embedded Engineer

to design, develop, test, and maintain embedded systems for innovative hardware products. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, experience with microcontrollers, and a solid understanding of hardware-software integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and firmware.
  • Develop applications using

C/C\+\+

for embedded platforms.

  • Work with microcontrollers such as

STM32, ARM Cortex, AVR, PIC, ESP32

, or similar.

  • Develop and debug device drivers, bootloaders, and communication interfaces.
  • Interface with peripherals using

UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and Bluetooth

.

  • Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
  • Optimize firmware for memory, performance, and power consumption.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and implement firmware updates when required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in

Electronics \& Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science

, or a related field.

  • 2\+ years of experience in embedded systems or firmware development.
  • Strong programming skills in

Embedded C/C\+\+

.

  • Experience with

RTOS

(FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, or similar).

  • Good understanding of microcontroller architecture and memory management.
  • Knowledge of debugging tools such as

JTAG, SWD, GDB

, or similar.

  • Experience with version control systems such as

Git

.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with

Embedded Linux

and Linux device drivers.

  • Familiarity with

Yocto

, Buildroot, or Linux kernel development.

  • Knowledge of wireless technologies including

BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa

, or NFC.

  • Experience with PCB debugging and basic electronics.
  • Understanding of scripting languages such as

Python

for automation.

  • Knowledge of secure boot, OTA firmware updates, and IoT device development.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with automotive standards (AUTOSAR, CAN, LIN) or industrial communication protocols.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for embedded development.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
